Your Journey begins with Us

Deb Becker, LCSW Denver/Boulder - (720)883-7264

Deb's journey into Dementia care started in 1993 when she came to Denver to complete a Music Therapy internship at Fort Logan. From there she found a love for the elderly working in nursing homes. In 2000 Deb earned her MSW from University of Denver in order to work as both a Music Therapist and Social Worker in hospice. Since 2006, Deb has been a part of Kaiser Permanente currently working as one of the Dementia Specialists for the Supportive Care Department.

"when people are faced with progressive illness, understanding the diagnosis and its impact on those we love is the best way to limit the loss of control one feels"

When not working to better the lives of those affected by Dementia, Deb can be found singing with the Arvada Chorale, walking her rescue pup Mercury "Freddie to his friends" , enjoying the outdoors hiking and biking and/or sitting quietly with a ball of yarn creating whatever comes to mind.

Nancy Greenstreet, LCSW SO Colorado - (719)283-1539

Nancy Greenstreet is currently with Kaiser Permanente Colorado as one of the Dementia Specialists. Nancy completed her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Metropolitan State College of Denver, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She then completed a Masters of Social Work at the University of Denver.

Following graduation Nancy worked in Community Mental Health with youth and adults in a variety of treatment modalities and was a clinical outpatient supervisor prior to joining Kaiser Permanente Colorado (KPCO). Upon joining KPCO she was tasked with implementing a palliative care model in the Southern Colorado community of Pueblo. Nancy has become well known for her passionate approach to providing supportive care services, advanced care planning, and Dementia support/education to KPCO members and the community.

Nancy loves to travel and “see the world”. While at home she enjoys baking, cooking and a glass of wine. Her loveable pup, Obi, has a special place in her heart.
